This article highlights the applications of blockchain technology and have they’ve been growing in various areas. Specifically, the issuances of digital tokens using blockchain has been increasingly seen as a viable alternative to traditional debt financing.

The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong has agreed in principle to issue a license to a cryptocurrency firm for its application to operate a virtual asset trading platform involving security tokens. There are expectations that more licenses will be granted to virtual asset trading platforms in the foreseeable future.
