The training will begin with a presentation on the key strategies in preparing for and approaching negotiations, with concrete tools for each phase of the process:

  • Preparation;
  • Negotiating with a Counterparty; and,
  • Evaluation of Negotiation Outcomes.

Attendees will participate in a tabletop exercise in order to apply the concepts provided. Following the simulation, the group will participate in a discussion on the negotiation exercise to focus on taking away the strategies and tools for everyday application.
