Overview (Program Summary)
We will discuss the whole of government approach by U.S. government agencies to countering national security and commercial threats posed by countries of concern, including Russia and China. This will include a discussion of the recent Executive Order concerning the transfer of bulk personal and other sensitive data and recent enforcement initiatives and actions by the Department of Justice and other agencies. We will also discuss recent trendlines concerning cybersecurity, particularly focusing on the new SEC cybersecurity rules.
