Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Australia

Alicia from Holman Webb lawyers will cover the recent amendments to the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) including consideration of compliance and enforcement by the Fair Work Ombudsman against both corporations and individuals.

Alicia will specifically address the new requirements relating to casual employees, including the Casual Employment Information Statement and the new definition of casual employment in the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth).

Alicia will also cover the flexibilities introduced to Modern Awards during the COVID-19 pandemic, and consider options for organisations once the flexibilities are no longer available - including a consideration of enterprise agreements, and whether they are right for your organisation.

This webinar will be highly relevant for anyone with compliance obligations and/or who manages employees, particularly given the potential for the imposition of civil penalties.
