Overview (Program Summary)
Mindful eating and drinking is a great way to feel better and practice a new healthy habit as we enter Spring.
Please join your ACC Southern California colleagues for an afternoon coffee or tea break in which we will learn the basics of mindful eating and drinking while slowly sipping a calming and/or energizing warm drink.
Participants will receive a single serving of coffee or tea to use during this practice time as well as a small gift to keep by their desk as a reminder that it is possible to have a mindful moment during any busy day.
Please register by Tuesday March 21 so we have time to send you your coffee, tea & gift!
This Mindful Afternoon Break will be led by Jill Kalliomaa, co-creator and member of the ACC Attorney Well-Being Committee. Jill’s background includes presenting on mindfulness and attorney well-being at ACC Annual Meetings, taking Mindfulness in Law Teacher Training, and participating in the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course as well as many meditation retreats.
