Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Australia

When a business identifies a suspected threat to its intellectual property assets, early response strategies can often be developed in an information vacuum. Little may be known about the opponent, its background and operations or its appetite for bringing or defending litigation. However, critical intelligence can be unearthed quickly and cost-effectively using free online investigation tools. Deploying these tools in combination, businesses can develop a picture of their opponent at the pre-litigation stage, facilitating informed strategy development and efficient resource allocation.

This webinar will include a live demonstration of several online investigative tools. It will illustrate how these tools can be used to uncover critical intelligence in the pre-litigation phase of an intellectual property dispute, allowing in-house legal teams to make time-critical decisions based on the best available information and setting up the opportunity for strategic action.
