•	Ramsey Saleeby

Ramsey Saleeby– Associate General Counsel & Director of Legal Affairs, ACC,  Moderator

Ramsey Robert Saleeby serves as Associate General Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs for the Association of Corporate Counsel. In this role, he provides legal counsel to ACC, leads U.S-based advovacy efforts, as well as develops programming for ACC’s various global in-person events. Ramsey is also an adjunct professor at the George Mason School of Law teaching International Commercial Law, an advanced level law course, and serves on the board of advisors for the Journal of International Commercial Law. Prior to joining ACC, Ramsey served as General Counsel for Armantek, a technology company located in the suburbs of Washington, DC. His experience also includes counseling major financial institutions and the U.S. Government on trade finance and banking law and regulation. He has published and edited numerous books and articles on banking law and practice, with a focus on letters of credit, and served as the case editor for the monthly periodical, Documentary Credit World. He has spoken on these subjects at a number of global conferences, including workshops organized by the Commercial Law Development Program, U.S. Department of Commerce in Baghdad and Istanbul. Ramsey earned a BA from the University of Michigan and a JD degree from the George Mason University School of Law. He is currently an LLM candidate at King’s College London.

 

Dawna Wright

Dawna Wright-Senior Managing Director, FTI Consulting

Dawna Wright specialises in the interpretation of complex data and financial information and providing expert opinions for non-financial clients, particularly lawyers and Boards of Directors. Dawna has over 25 years of experience in auditing and forensic accounting, and clients value her accessibility and her hands-on approach.
A Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of experience, Dawna has worked in Canada, the United States, France and Australia, including as a Partner in both ‘Big Four’ and boutique firms. Dawna has led a wide range of matters as an independent expert witness, a consulting expert and an expert determiner. Her experience includes expert testimony, pre-litigation dispute consulting, class action litigation, post-acquisition disputes, shareholder disputes, construction disputes, financial statement restatements, corporate investigations, and anti-bribery and corruption reviews. 
Dawna has testified on behalf of corporates, governments and regulators.  She has provided expert testimony in the Federal Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Supreme Court of Queensland, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Supreme Court of Western Australia and Administrative Tribunals, as well as arbitrations in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.  
 

 

•	Malcolm Haack

Malcolm Haack- Group GC and Chief Compliance Officer, Orica, GC100  member

Malcolm Haack is the Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Orica, an ASX 100 listed multinational corporation, and one of the world’s largest providers of commercial explosives and blasting systems to the mining, quarrying, oil and gas and construction markets. Malcolm is responsible for the legal and ethics and compliance affairs of the Orica group and the leadership and management of Orica’s global legal and ethics and compliance teams. Malcolm has 25 years of experience working in blue-chip organisations and first tier law firms across the globe. Prior to joining Orica, Malcolm most recently held executive legal roles in London, Abu Dhabi and Australia for a Fortune 500 company and was responsible for legal teams across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Malcolm is an ExCo member of the Australian GC100.
