Dear ACC Colorado Members,
Happy New Year and I hope everyone is ready for another great year with ACC Colorado!
Before I jump into some highlights for the upcoming months, I wanted to take a moment of gratitude and reflect on how wonderful 2023 was! We had some amazing programming with very good attendance. I am very proud of how engaged and involved our membership is – YOU make our Chapter as successful as it is!
We ended 2023 with some great CLEs and events like the EDI CLE luncheon on Understanding and Eliminating Bias (don’t forget to get your EDI credits!), our first ever event partnering with Colorado’s National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) with some thoughtful roundtable discussions titled, Leading Through Minefields, Disruption and Risk: The GC as The Board’s Futurist, our annual Ethics Day and the end of year Blossoms of Light Holiday Party.
Even though it’s only mid-January, we already have had a webinar on Navigating FCPA Enforcement Trends, and have the following programs scheduled: A Primer on Commercial Insurance for Corporate Counsel and Risk Managers on January 18, the annual CLE & Ski on February 7 (it sold out so fast!), and a Pro Bono Volunteer Opportunity with the Nonprofit Legal Audit Clinic on March 13.
Finally, save the date for May 2 for our always popular In-House Counsel Forum at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Denver!
