NOTICE TO MEMBERS

Dear Members,

Our Constitution requires our accounts to be examined at least every year by one or more properly qualified auditor or auditors who shall report to the Members in accordance with the provisions of the Corporations Act (Act).

Our auditor for the financial year ended 30 September 2021 was RSM Australia Pty Ltd (RSM).  Following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held 16 February 2022, ACLA undertook a competitive tender process for its auditing services.  RSM and two (2) other auditing firms took part in the tender process.  Accru Melbourne (Audit) Pty Ltd (Accru) was successful with their tender.

On 13 September 2022, RSM resigned as auditor for the Company in accordance with section 329(5) of the Act, subject to approval from the Australian Securities and Investments Commissions (ASIC). At the same time (on 12 September 2022), Accru accepted our nomination to act as auditors of ACLA for the year ending 30 September 2022 with effect from the resignation of RSM as auditor.  On this basis, we have appointed Accru as auditor of ACLA to fill the vacancy in the office of the auditor with effect from the resignation of RSM as auditor of the Company and subject to ASIC’s consent.  Under section 327C(2) of the Act, an auditor appointed on this basis holds office, until the next AGM.    ASIC provided their approval of RSM’s resignation on 21 October 2022 to take effect on the publication of this notice.

This is a notice to inform you that RSM has resigned and Accru has been appointed as auditor of ACLA until the next AGM.

If you have any further queries, please contact our Company Secretary at companysecretary@accglobal.com
