  • A Call To Action
ACC endorsed BellSouth's Statement of Principle on Diversity when it was offered some year's ago, as did several hundred general counsel on behalf of their organizations. ACC is pleased to also endorse the more recent Call to Action, which was authored by ACC Board Member Roderick A. (Rick) Palmore, who is the general counsel of Sara Lee Corporation. Signatories to the Call to Action pledge to make diversity a significant priority in their legal departments and to encourage their law firms to do the same: toward that end, signatories agree to accord preference to firms that evidence their commitment to diversity, and to limit or end their relationships with firms that do not. If you are interested in joining the growing list of leading general counsel who have signed the Call to Action, please contact Mr. Palmore.
